THE CAFé
“My idea of heaven … sipping a nice cup of tea surrounded by beautiful flowers” … Elsie M Page
(aka Granny Page – the inspiration behind Café des Fleurs) circa 1982
Cafe des Fleurs first opened it’s doors in 2008 at The Corn Exchange on Strand Quay, inspired by the great Late Elsie Page (aka Lucy’s Granny Page!).
We are now situated next to Rye Train Station, where we have been serving coffees and refreshments to locals and visitors alike since 2013 both in our quaint little café and through our “hatch” onto Platform 2!
Sit amongst the flowers and enjoy a treat for all the senses – the scent and beauty of the flowers, the taste of the delicious freshly ground coffee, the sounds of the coffee grinder and the hustle and bustle of a busy café and the feeling of calm as you relax in the surroundings!
Visit us 6 days a week (closed on Sundays) from 08.00 to 16.00
